For the 30th time, Krishna Valley is hosting one of Hungary’s largest spiritual and cultural experience festivals. From July 25 to 27, the eco-village of Somogyvámos welcomes visitors with special programs, traditional Indian experiences, musical and dance evenings, and themed tours. The jubilee event holds surprises for all ages – and visitors who turn 30 this year receive free admission!
Although Krishna Valley is open year-round, the Krishna Valley Festival is undoubtedly the highlight of the year. The first festival was held in 1996 to celebrate the inauguration of the temple. Even back then, the Indian cultural center drew thousands of curious guests, turning the sacred space into a major tourist attraction as well. Hundreds of Krishna devotees from across the country gather for the event, which showcases a lifestyle close to nature and the daily practice of ancient Vedic culture – with its vibrant traditions, philosophy of life, music, dance, and cuisine. During the day, visitors of all ages can explore the lives of the community through interactive experiences, while evenings are filled with chanting and vibrant musical celebrations.
